Natural light can be one of the most effective lighting tools you have when you’re shooting a film. It’s everywhere, it’s free, and when you use it well, it can make your visuals feel more realistic and visually engaging. But it’s not always as easy as pointing your camera at the sun and hitting record.

If you want structure, mentorship, access to gear, and a built in creative community, film school might be a good fit.
